    Honesty is the key

After all, philosophies describing the “truth” are mere past time. We could spend our time fitting our behavior to follow a philosophy but there will not be honest change within.

There could be a beautiful behavior from someone, something impresses us and we want to act in the same way. That action came from a saint, an angel, etc. That same action if it is done by us just to copy the behavior, becomes false; the work of a con artist.

Actions by themselves, do not make a great man. But a great man makes great actions automatically. Until we do not realize that, honesty will not be known by us.

Of what good is to know that we are souls, who God is, and what will be the future, if we keep on using others for our own interest? Peddling in ideas to fill our empty egos with some certainty.

    That is the predestined Drama.

Inner Honesty is the way out from that closed door.

Message 7: Predestination and the Cycle of Time.

For some consciousness, we are all ONE.
    Who is predestined then?
That ONE changes through its full range. That is known as the “cycle of time.” If there wouldn’t be any change, then there wouldn’t be any movement. Without movement, there is no Life.

Because there is Life in that ONE, then it changes.
    Who is predestined then?
When that ONE is divided in many. Then “I” appears. Then “I” will be sleeping in the belief that there is free will or predestination for “I” cannot see the ONE.
It is all appearances, illusions when we look at things from the “unlimited” from the ONE.  Is god the ONE?  I am not referring to that one. I am referring to Everyone.

Predestination is for the many. “God” is predestined. “We” are predestined. Although, our consciousness says that we have “free will.” Believe in whatever you want. Even in the “I.”

What is the value of knowing about predestination?
Little. Unless we are ready to OBSERVE, for then we will not be caught up with definitions, concepts and thought.
Most don’t want to OBSERVE. Most want to believe in the “truth.”
Do you want to hurt the “I”? That is predestination.
Do you want to pamper the “I”? That is free will.

Oh, truth seekers! Where is the truth that you shall find?

Find the “reality” of the “I.”

Hi Ahnanda, the question at the end is really wonderful but “I don’t know, how to find the reality of this “I”. I mean my current understanding is that, I want to find the meaning of this “I”, I mean if I desire about something, unless and until I don’t fulfill that desire “I” don’t feel the substantial meaning of my “I”. sometimes I feel it’s ok the way life is you know, just carry on with acceptance, but then again the external pressure, no no no, how can you be so relaxed about life, we have struggled so much in life, life is not meant to be relaxed, the “Others” also contribute for creating that desire of “Meaning of the “I”. But I personally don’t feel there is any useful meaning of this “I” through fulfilent of desires. 🙂 Thanks for writing this message Ahnanda 🙂 Om shanti.

Gyan and the process in Life

In one BK retreat I attended years ago, I recall a senior sister wondering why BKs use the word “process” when Baba never uses it.

“Process” does not fit the “Black and White” model of “Now or never.” It doesn’t fit the easy labeling of “pure and impure.”
Besides, even though Baba may have not used that word, Gyan is about process. Baba mentions how the “Drama moves slowly as a louse.” That is in fact, process, or how “day changes into night,” that is process as well. It doesn’t happen right away, there is a process.

When the mind is caught up with words, it is unable to see the depth behind the words.

Therefore, “process” is part of Gyan.

A process is the outcome of 2 apparent opposite forces, which are complementary. This interplay gives movement, change.
Anything that lacks movement is mind made.

Heaven and Hell, good and bad, day and night have movement, change.
However, hell is not the opposite of heaven, but complementary. In other words, if it wasn’t for hell, there wouldn’t be heaven. Therefore, it does not make any sense to use the “black or white” statement that “heaven is better than hell,” for both will be experienced and one will bring the other. The intensity of your “hell” will give the intensity of your “heaven.”

It is said: “ As it is above, it is below.”
This expression is merely referential. There is no movement; therefore it is mind made, it is all the same. It is like “ what is outside is inside.” There is no separation between outside and inside, for they are the same.
Nevertheless, for many; there is outside and there is inside which are different things. In fact, the whole spiritual “practice” is how the “inside” can control or influence the “outside.”
That is spirituality for the masses.

That is why rather than to try to change or influence the outside, we may need to be AWARE of “that,” for that is the inside.
Change happens from the inside through AWARENESS, openness, then the outside will match. This change is a process; therefore, according to Life.

When we truly understand this, we know that between 2 “black or white” words  such as “pure and impure” there is a process which needs to be respected. If we are not aware of that, then we will be violent towards another or ourselves.

The essence is. When explaining about it, I may need to use the word “inside.” That is not accurate, but we are dealing with words, that is why words can only be pointers and why there cannot be literal “words of God.”
