“Truth” is meaningless for change of consciousness

If the last article was understood in all its amplitude, from the reader’s example, we could realize that information from others so we do not make “mistakes” in Life is illusory, as far as consciousness. As far as society’s traditions, to have the “right” answer may be desirable; but our consciousness is still stuck in the same perspective. There are no “mistakes” in Life. This is something to deeply understand.

    Let me expand this realization.
In my experience, to discuss whether “God” exists or not is irrelevant now. Thus, to argue about the “truth” of God as being an exclusivity of the BK movement or of any other religion, is completely pointless.

That wasn’t my experience a few years ago. The writings in “Exploring the Depth of Living” started out with a complete assurance that “I” knew God. That “I” have experienced “God.”

As my experience changed, so my understanding. I was able to see the full range of the “godly” experience. The 2 sides of the coin.

Intellectuals like to debate whether God exists or “he” does not. Proofs are necessary. Statements from “saints” and influential individuals are quoted in search of the “truth.”

What do “I” gain by knowing the so called “truth”? Absolutely nothing. It is just information that I will not be able to “prove” to others whether “I” had an experience or not. On the other hand, when “I” LIVE the experience without trying to convince others of the validity of it, then a whole new world opens up.
This experience is strictly personal. “My” discoveries are merely information for another person. That person needs to live it, to know and what he knows, he cannot be able to put that as the “truth.” It is just an experience bringing a perspective in Life.
But… Life experiences are able to change consciousness.

Yes, we may need to live the “theist” and “atheist” mind. If someone merely looks at this  issue from outside, based on arguments and intellectual stuff, that person’s consciousness cannot see beyond his own conditioning.

Most individuals are looking for a “true” Guru to follow. They want to make sure that they are following the “right” person so they can get the information they need to accomplish some ego trip.
That is nonsense, but the beginning of a seeker.
Because someone read the above and agreed with me, that means nothing at all. That person needs to find out for himself through his own experience.

To “reinvent the wheel,” is a necessity in living Life.

For example, someone may ask me: “Is Santa Claus for real?
    What is the “truth”?”
What matters is to acknowledge the consciousness of the individual and give an answer accordingly. That is respect in Life.  If a 7 year-old is asking me that question and he loves to watch “Santa” on TV and at the mall, and he cherishes the gift he just got from Santa for being a good kid… could you have the heart to tell him: “Kid… Santa does not exist. Just a tall story.” Then, that enjoyment may be gone in the name of the “truth.” That kid will grow up without trust for adults.

In Life, most kids will find something different as their consciousness naturally changes. It will not be a traumatic experience as they will move on with the new consciousness of being a teenager: Santa is automatically out.

Living the full experience of “Santa,” and leaving the experience through a different consciousness, creates happiness in that kid, enjoyment. A full experience. That is the “truth.” 😉

    For the common good.

Yes bro, I definitely feel that a lot of things are there I need to experiment with, but I still lack in the kind of self trust and determination required for that. 🙂

    Appreciation of Brahma Kumaris beliefs

“… But actually, one thing is there, if I had not been attached to this belief given by BKs that “I create my own thoughts and can control them, and need to create only GOOD thoughts, I wouldn’t have reached to this experience. [The realization and awareness that thoughts merely appear.] As you have also said in many articles, both sides of the coin are required.”

That is a great realization, indeed!
That realization will bring appreciation of the Brahma Kumaris path, even though you are no longer following it.
You realize that without your previous belief, you would have not been able to realize the nature of thoughts.

Also, you can now realize that BK Shivani wasn’t “wrong.” Her role is needed for BKs so BK Shivani is “right” for them. Thus, at another time; those BK followers will be ready to realize other things, just like you did.
If we tell those followers now: “Thoughts just appear, you do not create them,” they will laugh at us. Their consciousness is not ready for that.

Another teaching from that realization of yours, is that it doesn’t matter who is “right” or “wrong.”
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter whether thoughts appear or we create them. What matters is that we can perceive them and thus, how much we identify with them is the important aspect.

If we don’t identify with thoughts, there is a space created between “I” and thoughts, it is that empty space the one that we may want to explore as well.

With all of these realizations plus an added appreciation for the BK path and its teachings, you are ready to move on from the BK experience without hard feelings in your heart.
You have liberated yourself, when others cannot; for you have seen the 2 sides of the coin.

Every coin has 2 sides. Both sides are different. Because they are different, people living in the mind are stuck in wanting to know which side is “right” and which one is “wrong.”

That search is futile. They can only see one side of the coin, but they cannot see the coin itself…
Until, they are willing to take a look at the other side without prejudice.   🙂

When we started our “careers” in “spirituality,” we did not know anything. We didn’t know about the coin. When I say “knowing,” I do not mean intellectual stuff, information. I mean experience.
We cannot experience the coin itself for we are not ready to understand 2 different but complementary sides of it.

We are stuck on “good and bad,” “right or wrong,” stuff that we learned when we were little toddlers. (conditioning.)
As we grow up, our understanding and experience will be different, unless we are stuck on living Life with a dogma, then we are not living Life… but a dogma.

The reality of a dogma is a static mind in a dynamic an ever changing Life.

    For the common good.

But thanks to you too, if you would not have capitalized the word AWARENESS in most of your articles, I wouldn’t have caught it. 🙂
It is actually not that difficult just to BE there 🙂

Lots of thoughts are not “mine.”

In Life there are many beings intermingling with the physical world. Most individuals are unaware of them. Their influence is made through thoughts.
The collective consciousness has a dial, that is caught by many people. That thought becomes theirs. An individual influenced by this, will call that thought “mine.”

Have you watched the movie “Wonder Woman” (2017)?
In that movie, there is the villain “Ares,” the “god of war” who influences scientists so they can develop weapons for mass destruction. Scientists cannot see him. They cannot touch him but yet they could tune into his thoughts… and then call those “my thought.” This scenario may not be far from “reality.”
“Ares” does not care to get recognition. That is a human conditioning.

Religions such as Brahma Kumaris and others, are aware of this. There are many subtle beings. What is the response to “protect” the follower from this “reality”?
To create a “code of conduct.” A mental frame work to DO no matter what our minds may say, no matter what “doubts” will show up. All “I” need to DO is to follow a paragraph of DO’s and Don’ts.

Paradoxically, is that “safety net” the one that will not allow the individual to evolve and rather inflict an internal war all the time: “I want to DO this, but I know it is wrong; for my code of conduct does not allow it.”

Individuals unaware of the mind, will not learn from this experience: they are unable to recognize and make a distinction between “my” thoughts and someone else’s.
There is no straight forward “division” for “my thoughts” can only reflect the same old conditioning that has been inflicted from many years and many lives…

    Are we stuck then?
No. In Brahma Kumaris there is the knowledge of the “role.”
This “role” expresses through a gut feeling. The mind is not involved, for again, the mind is pure conditioning. This does not mean that the mind is “bad” or a villain.  The mind has an important role so we could fit into this society.

As we learn to tune into the gut feeling, the heart, we will DO according to our role in Life, so there will not be dissonance, a sense that something is missing.
For instance, we may follow a “code of conduct,” and think that “I am DOING the right thing.” However, our inner being will be dissatisfied, unhappy. That is how the mind forces our BEING to behave in a certain way which is deemed to be “right.”

The beauty of all is that whether we are slaves of our minds or not, we will DO as our role dictates. Nevertheless, once we are free from the mind, there is no dissonance, no feeling of frustration, etc. Again, I wouldn’t share this with someone who has suicidal or criminal tendencies… They may need commandments, codes of conduct, etc. at that point in their experience to preserve their lives and others.

We could see that there is no magic formula/method to solve the thinking “problem.” Every method has timing. That is all. Once we ARE beyond the method, allow for Life to show us the exit door. If we entered through a door, we may need to exit through it. That is the journey, but our minds like to label that same door as “good” and “bad.” That may be insanity through the power of labels.

    For the common good.

Om shanti. My last message to this blog could not go through. Now i forgot what i wrote in that message; my consciousness has changed already! 🙂 🙂

Yes brother, you have explained about thoughts very well.

Regarding the other ‘beings’ present around us – Baba used to mention that there are departed souls who affect/ influence the people.

He says, “At the end, you will have to face/ withstand 4 strong forces simultaneously – your own old sanskars that rebel against you, the tamopradhan sanskars of others, the impact of departed souls who had left their bodies all of a sudden in calamities, and the 5 elements which would rage a final great war against you.

      regards,

    Are all thoughts mine?

… I read your recent article “the world of mind may not be real”. You have specified that we need to see whether our thoughts are ours or they just appear.
With BKs, I was a bug fan of “Sister Shivani”, in her almost every lecture she focus only on one thing that “All of the thoughts are “MINE”, we create them at our own will”. But now after long time, with some practice of watching my own mind without judgement, I realize that “Thoughts are actually not our creation”. They just appear. There is also an emotionless and feeling-less moments, temporary though, for may be few seconds. But it’s really an amazing experience of just being there.

    Thank you for your comments.
Ahnanda has shared the same topic many times through different words in the blog “Exploring the Depth of Living;” however, there are very few that could perceive what Ahnanda is sharing.

All it takes to find out, is just to observe your own mind. However, most are unable to DO it. The idea of “ I am not creating my thoughts” seems crazy; but when you ask the same people who complain about having many “waste” thoughts, to stop their own “creation,” they cannot. All they can do is add “nice thoughts” in top of what has already appeared.

Because their minds are running their lives, what is important is to find out intellectual answers rather than observing and acknowledging “what is.”
“So, you are saying that I am not creating my thoughts, then who is?”
That is the question to “get me,” right?

But then if I ask, who is that “I”? We could get into a big useless debate and forget about “creating thoughts.” The “right answer” has to make sense to the mind, although; we don’t realize that we are still trapped in the mind. Because we cannot get out of it and perceive the huge “reality” outside of it.

Thoughts are like “vibrations,” they are in the air. We catch them, we let them through us, we identify with them, we call them “mine.”

What you experienced in those few seconds is what Ahnanda calls “meditation” and “no-mind.” I don’t need to define that for you, for you know it.

In Brahma Kumaris there is “knowledge” of the “role.” They say, we have “up to 84 roles in the kalpa.” Moreover, “gyan” says that those “roles” are predestined.
Aren’t thoughts part of the role? Aren’t souls different than roles?
Doesn’t BK knowledge teach that “I am a soul not a body.”?
Therefore, how can I say “my thoughts are my creation” when the “I” in BK parlance, is the soul (“I,” the soul) and the soul is not a role?

Do you see how intellectual we can get through BK knowledge? The mind will spin around the “why and the how,” but yet none of that will give you the direct experience that you were able to find out by just observing your mind.
All you had to DO is to abandon your conditioning of “I create my thoughts.” That is all. How could we OBSERVE if we want for our observation to fit our ideas and beliefs?
That is why to become AWARE of the need to decondition from what the mind knows as “true,” is of utmost importance.

Thanks to your observation, Ahnanda has been able to share one of the most significant articles in this blog. If someone truly understands this, that individual is set for his own discoveries about himself.

Is there any other significant thing in Life than to know yourself?

    For the common good.

Thanks brother for your reply with clarification 🙂
But actually, one thing is there, if I had not been attached to this belief given by BKs that “I create my own thoughts and can control them, and need to create only GOOD thoughts, I wouldn’t have reached to this experience. As you have also said in many articles, both sides of the coin are required.

I every day used to try to create only good thoughts within myself, and the strange thing is, BAD thoughts were being created on its own, later I read on your blog about Awareness, and understood, oh it’s more about being AWARE and not CREATE.
If someone sits and ask this question to him/herself, which is the next thought being created by me, let me see, you will observe (after some time, depending on the practice) that no thoughts are being created. May be that’s the meaning of peace is already there, the duality of thoughts shake our peace a lot Ahnanda!!

Peace is there, but it is not. We are , but we are not. Thoughts are because we are , but they aren’t because we aren’t…. The mind likes words, but the experience of awareness is what makes the change. Contrast is needed so we can realize, that is why we need 2 sides of the coin as part of our experience. Congrats for the realization… 🙂

Defining God according to a belief

The word “god” has been used in so many ways to fit beliefs systems, but yet there is the belief that everyone talks about the same thing.
Therefore, “God” is a mental conditioning, an idea. The ideal that there has to be a “father” or “mother,” a “creator;” someone who knows everything, someone who does not perish. The “ultimate being.”

If we have an experience with a being that we are not familiar with, we could call that being, “god.” Perhaps, this being is able to tell us about our future and past. He may even know about us better than ourselves. What is our conditioned response?
To label that being as “god.”
Other times, it is merely a matter of belief.

In my days as a Christian (Roman Catholic) “God” was a personal one. The “father” of Jesus and of mankind, but “god” was omnipresent at the same time, and omniscient. ”He” is all-powerful.

That description may bring a lot of believers looking to “secure” themselves from the uncertainties of Life. Their willingness to be “safe” may be labeled as “love for god.”

In Brahma Kumaris, “God” has a different profile. There, “god” is not omnipresent but he is omniscient. God, is not the “creator,” but a witness; although he may intervene by sending “sakash,” to “his people,” the “chosen ones” or even to non-believers.

That belief is all mental security, life “insurance.” A description or definition of what “God” is, certainly is not god. Certainly there is no knowledge of god there. However, when we live in the mind, those descriptions are labeled as “truth.”
“We have the truth, you don’t. Let me explain it to you.”
It is all ego driven mental illusion.

If a seeker is concerned about BEING, there is no room for mental ideas and ideals. However, this is a process in itself.

Brahma Kumaris offers the opportunity for the seeker to taste their own mind and to realize how important is for us, to live through concepts, definitions and analysis.
Seekers that are mostly living in their minds are referred as “gyani souls.”

Avyakt7 was one of them. That is why, I am sharing my experience.
When the mind rules, we are slaves to it.
I understand that many seekers would like to become “better,” and to be SOMEONE in life.
That is part of their process. God is part of that ideal of becoming SOMEONE here and in the after life. God is necessary many times, to go through many of the “tests” in Life.
“God” is the “training wheels” when learning to ride the bike of self-realization.
Some, may not be able to take those wheels off, but yet believe that they are truly riding the bike by themselves. Others, not believing in god, haven’t yet started their journey.  It is not about who is “right or wrong.” That is mental stuff. At the end, it is only about the journey, our personal journey. That is what matters the most.

    For the common good.

    The Soul is empty

Explanations are only intellectual. If we agree on these explanations it does not mean that we will have the EXPERIENCE of this. Without experience, it is only another belief.

In Brahma Kumaris is taught about the “faculties of the soul.” The mind, the intellect and the sanskaras. However, aren’t those separated “things” the role of a person?
We try desperately to name and label things which have no meaning.
The “Mind” is not a thing. Most of us, do not have a direct experience of what the mind is, even though we live with it every day. The “intellect” is another key label without much use without the mind.

Let us say that Ronald was a womanizer in one of his previous lives. However, in this Life as Ronald, he is a shy individual. Even though he has the propensity to be a womanizer, his role in this Life, has placed an obstacle for that “sanskara.” It is this conflict the one that will bring further change in Ronald which will be expressed in another role.

Therefore, what does it matter to analyze and dissect things in our lives with neat labels, when everything is movement in togetherness?
When we truly observe this and realize it, labels to analyze things in parts; are useless.

Let me give another example: In Buddhism “Sunyata” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Śūnyatā) is another well-known label. Intellectuals discuss about the “true” meaning and followers will “practice” their version of it.
In English we use the words “emptiness,” “voidness,” “nothingness,” to refer to it. Most laymen are scared of that word and the thought of being “nothing.”
Most want to be SOMEONE and Brahma Kumaris offers that opportunity through their belief system.

Some may be thinking, that “Buddhism is a better path!”
NO! for nothingness gets misinterpreted by followers. However, wanting to become SOMEONE will take that person automatically into NOTHINGNESS. The word that we could use is “egoless,” just like Brahma Kumaris uses it. Nothingness is not the truth, nor being SOMEONE. It is both and none of them. So what is the truth? To be someone and to be nothing at the same time… Isn’t that a crazy, illogical  statement?

If we are nothing but an empty container that we call “soul,” and Buddhists refer to that as “emptiness,” aren’t both talking about the same thing?

Yes… but it is just talk for a follower.
As long as the mind is prevalent in our BEING, all we will DO is to try to grasp concepts, ideas, information. “Empty” stuff.

For some Brahma Kumaris followers, it is very important to know the age difference between Radhe and Krishna. Useless information, but when someone is utilized by their own mind, these trivia facts become utmost important.

Just like separating the soul into 3 faculties. Useless.
In which way that information could be important to you? How it could help you to transform?

Ronald the “ex- womanizer,” may not have much luck with women in this Life. He could say: “Oh… it is my karma. I did something wrong in the past and I need to settle that account.” Do you feel guilty? Whether we know this or not, we will experience what we need to experience in Life. Ronald will experience many other things in his Life. His karmic accounts from past lives are only part of that role. Do we see that?

Experience and AWARENESS. Observe how Nature moves. Observe that “you” are part of it. Observe that everything changes and so will “you.” It is a matter of time, a matter of roles. It is in that awareness how we could observe the beauty of Life without trying to get something out of it for “ourselves.” Whether we call that “salvation,” “heaven,” a “high status,” etc. It is this idea to accomplish something, the force that will solidify our own egos.
That is necessary in our paths, our evolution; thus Brahma Kumaris is a “good” path but not the only one.

    For the common good.

    Tags: 6 day course, , , , , , , , who am I?

Rephrasing the answer: Who AM I?

Brahma Kumaris is the path of the intellect, by extension; the mind.
The mind is happy with concepts, definitions. The mind is OK with a promise of something “good” in the future.
If Brahma Kumaris promises the follower to be SOMEONE, I wonder how the question asked in the first day of class of the “6 day course, “ WHO AM I? is related.

Basically, it comes down to this: You are a “soul” but you will be SOMEONE in the future.
What is that SOMEONE that Brahma Kumaris promises?
A deity, an angel, etc. etc.

The word “soul” is merely a concept. The mind accepts that concept for it is insurance for the afterlife. Most individuals are not feeling at ease by knowing that we have a limited time. We will die. This consciousness of what we think to BE, will perish, disappear.
The ego-mind, wants to continue on. The IDEA of BEING a soul brings that soothing relief for: “I am eternal.”

However, who is that “I”? Most will not get this question. Even though BapDada has mentioned in Avyakt Murlis.

Right now, we are merely a role. That is the “I.” That role will disappear, will change.
If “I” am only conscious of the role, “I” could believe that this is the “I” that will survive eternally. It is not like that.

Therefore, to be “soul conscious” is to go beyond the roles. Paradoxically, going beyond means to go beyond becoming SOMEONE in the future, for that is only a role.
Do you see where I am getting at?

WHO I AM? IS NOT the role. Is not the IDEA, the concept of being a “soul.” It is only to observe who I am “NOW.”
Do we observe anger? Do we observe detachment? Those things “I AM.” It is in the realization of that who I AM, how change happens, transformation occurs, without DOING things to AVOID that who I AM, without using my mind to separate the “good from the bad, what “should be” instead of “what is.”

The “soul” contains all the roles. Without a role we are NOBODY. Do we see that?

    I am not a soul.
    I am not a body.
    I am nobody.
Yet, when we are unable to discern the roles playing, we believe that to be ME.

When we are deeply sleeping, who are we? Is the “soul” sleeping?
When consciousness appears after sleep, is that out of my own will?

But yet, we feel that we KNOW because we repeat: I AM A SOUL, not a body.
But yet the body is what our consciousness actually discerns as BEING ME.
Perhaps a mirage, an illusion but that is “what is,” right now.
Why deny it? Why go with an idea (soul) to reject what it is obvious?
Here is when HONESTY will take us into a different direction. Acknowledge your consciousness. That is where you ARE.

Once our OBSERVATION increases, we will realize that using the concepts of soul or body, will not allow me to observe what is going on inside… that is what I AM NOW.

    For the common good.

There is an explanation in the first lesson that Soul works through three faculties, namely, 1. Mind 2. Intellect and 3. Sanskars (Personality traits), but when I kind of realized that Soul is experienced beyond the all these three, my perception has changed quite a lot. I think Mind and Intellect involve a lot of prejudice and duality, confusion sometimes, but if we want to realize our true self, we should try to go beyond that 🙂

The BK promise: To BE someone

From my perspective now, the BK path in my experience was interesting. I learned a lot which in turn allowed me to evolve.

What I understood back then, as the things that I needed to “achieve” in Life, such as “truth,” “liberation in life,” “ a high status,” and to be “God’s helper,” are no longer necessary. In fact, to be “number 1” or “like the Father,” has no meaning for me.

Someone who is on the verge of leaving the BK movement, may take the words above as the “insurance” they need to make the “right decision.” Those individuals are not capable of understanding that this is not about “making the right choice,” or having the “right answer.”
For them, those words will be merely the “escape goat” they require to escape the BK life style, when they are fed up.

We cannot fool our consciousness. That is why it is utmost important for a “spiritual” person to DO as our consciousness, our BEING is.
I wouldn’t tell that to a criminal. For them, to stop their aggressive behavior is a necessity to live in society. They may need methods to keep their aggressivity in check. They may need a dose of guilt so they could feel contrition AND the promise that if they BEHAVE “good” there will be a REWARD for them in the FUTURE.

    Do we see the difference?
The world has many people with many types of consciousness. We cannot treat everyone like criminals. Avyakt7-NG, does not share with the idea that everyone reading these things fall into the “criminal” mind set. (I am using the word “criminal” only to make a distinction, a point. I am not labeling a BK as a criminal. That is not my intention or the meaning. )

However, the BK path is meant to reform the “criminal” behavior.
Therefore, the methods to reform will be there. The promise of “salvation” as a reward will be plentiful.
Basically, rise from the “lower” criminal behavior into the “higher” angelic one. If you are going to BE someone, BE that. Achieve that. Make that your objective, your aim. Devote your Life to that goal. You will have help. Stick around.
That is the purpose of the BK path. That is why, it is needed as it is.
Yes, there may be “issues” inside which are the natural consequence of that type of mentality. It needs to flush out, just as what we do in the “Office World,” we put all “criminals” in the same place. There, what they ARE will come out until they give up, until their rage gets expelled from them, by going through its natural course. Old age brings that benefit in itself. That aggressivity which is typical in younger people, will diminish without DOING a thing.

The promise to be SOMEONE is important, for in the process of “criminal reformation,” we may lose everything we possess, every title we earned, every respect there was for us; however, that “I” will remain and “self-respect” (A word used in BK parlance but hardly understood) is what will get that person out of that suffering as it will make their life worth living it, with hope in a “better future.”     “I” will be SOMEONE .

However, it is not the end of the path. SOMEONE brings no-one.
That is not about intellectual understanding. It is not a concept to “churn.” It is an experience in itself.

    For the common good.

    The Brahma Kumaris Experience

If there is a “keyword” to understand in Life, it is the word “experience.”
Every happening in Life,  is an experience.
    Experiences are personal. Subjective.
Observe that Brahma Baba had an experience which changed his Life. To extrapolate it and believe that this experience should apply to everyone; is just a belief colored by self-righteousness.
His previous experiences in Life, led him into a particular experience.  Observe that there is a correlation, a path. Nothing happens at random.  That word “randomness” only shows human ignorance. Humans have different experiences even though, it may be the same occurrence or happening in Life. Again, there is SUBJECTIVITY in every experience.

Therefore, Brahma Kumaris could be labeled with the range of experiences: For some it was a great experience, for others; it was pretty lame. There are experiences in between and followers who will fit into those slots.

That is why Avyakt7-NG, is not here to take sides, to say how great or how awful the Brahma Kumaris experience is.

There is no “truth” valid here. Only experiences.
If we recognize the value of experiences in Life, we will be open to them; for change, transformation comes through that.

Someone may have had an experience with subtle Brahma Baba, that EXPERIENCE changed his Life. However, another EXPERIENCE, which could be the opposite or similar may arrive. Do we oppose to it? Do we see that WE are not in “control” of experiences?
But yet, we “choose.” We make a decision based on our conditioning, what we believe to be the “right” thing or the “truth” based on some belief system.
That is what will take us away from our inner honesty.

The “right choice” in Life, is not a choice. It is a gut feeling, it is in our heart, listen to that which is not conditioned; but for that we need to learn to recognize the mind and how it overcomes our own “truth” for some known ideal.

Experiences in Life are valuable. Labels to judge only support our conditioning.
Life has its own ways to produce change, transformation. To judge the ways of Life, is to reject it. It is to live separated from it.
Acknowledge your experiences. Be aware of the teachings in Life. If we want to imitate someone else’s experiences, we will not be true to ourselves.
That is perhaps the most valuable “truth” that we can “have.”

    For the common good.

Slogan of Sakar Murli 7/27/17 : Comments

A reader requested my comments on this:

The slogan of the SM of 7/27/17 was: “The basis of your stage is your awareness. Therefore, let there always be the awareness of happiness.”

The way the Murli uses the word “awareness” may be different than my own experience. It appears the Murli uses the word “awareness” as “perception.”
Thus: ” The basis of your stage is your perception. Thus, let there always be the perception of happiness.”
Nevertheless, the basis of our stage is AWARENESS and not perception.

Awareness is not a practice. Awareness is not something that we DO on a regular basis to accomplish something.
Yes, the basis of our stage in Life is our awareness. That will define our consciousness.
However, the second part of the slogan does not make any sense.

Happiness is a state of BEING. That state depends on our consciousness. As our consciousness IS so will be our AWARENESS.
We cannot force our awareness to be centered in some ideal of happiness. That is just an idea; but we could perceive happiness as moments of elation, joy, delight, etc.

Someone whose consciousness is not vibrating in happiness, cannot be aware of happiness. For those, happiness is just an intellectual idea, something to “achieve.”

As we ARE is what we ARE AWARE OF, naturally without any “practice” of willful remembrance of some formula.

Happiness is not a particular incident that brings elation. It is a harmonious state, calm, peaceful, vital which permeates everything we DO. Therefore, we cannot be AWARE of that if we ARE NOT that.

The above “slogan” is an example of the misinterpretation that could happen due to the use of particular words. Translation is alway an issue. Lack of “spiritual” experience of the one translating, is a big issue in misinterpretation of a teaching. That is why, it was suggested to match the words through our own experience and not just follow the words through blind faith.

I’d suggest the Slogan to be translated/constructed in this way:
“The basis of your stage is your awareness. Let there always be the perception of happiness.”

    For the common good.
